As Founder and Principle Trainer of the Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis I would like to warmly welcome you to the our website. I am very happy that you are interested in hypnotherapy courses, NLP practitoner training or completing life coach training with us. Our clinical hypnosis courses are comprehensive and will give you everything you need to enter into successful private practice with knowledge and confidence in the world of Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis provides fully accredited hypnotherapy training courses in Clinical Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching.

My mission is to produce highly skilled and competent hypnotists, NLP Practitioners. Every effort is made to constantly update the courses content to reflect developments from all the fields of study.

The site is designed to give you all the information that you need to make an informed decision as to whether to undertake your hypnotherapy training or NLP practitioner courses with the Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis.

Previous students hailed from a wide range of backgrounds and professions; and have ranged in age from 18 to 63.  Many are from a professional background, others have medical training, some are counsellors and many are from manual and semi-skilled trades. So, whoever you are,  I have probably trained someone like you. (Testimonials).

For most of our students this a career change, often after early retirement, redundancy or just had enough of the 9-5 routine. For many it is a second income earned in the evenings or weekends. Others see it as an opportunity to work from home with hours to suit themselves - especially mothers with children at school. (Eligibility).

The Advanced Practitioner of Clinical Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Courses are the equivalent of the NVQ Level 4 Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma and more than fulfils the criteria of National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Hypnotherapy published in 2002 by Skills for Health, the Government's Sector Skills Council for the UK health industry.

Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis is also very appreciative that students are giving me their hard earned cash and using their valuable spare time to educate themselves. With this in mind I strive to make these serious and in depth courses as experiential and entertaining as possible. I am acutely aware of the differing learning styles of students so produce lessons that allow all students to learn and retain information.

Each and every student is important to me and the other tutors. We soon work out their learning style and play to those strengths.

The professions of hypnotherapy and NLP involve the creation of profound relationships with people, many of whom are classed as vulnerable. Therefore ethics and professionalism are of extreme importance so they are highlighted many times.
